Serving Women Since Our Beginning… Now Proudly Serving Men, Too.
Compassionate, non-medical companion care, wellness, and connection for adults 55 and better — because everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, and never alone.
At The Becoming Her Collective, LLC, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, supported, and never alone. We provide compassionate, non-medical, non-clinical, and non-judgmental services that encourage meaningful relationships, support independence, promote wellness, and create spaces where people experience genuine human connection.
Care is more than completing tasks. It is sharing a conversation, offering a listening ear, lending a helping hand, and creating moments of joy, dignity, purpose, and community — for those who have given so much to all of us.
No one should have to age alone. No one should have to grieve alone. No one should have to celebrate alone. No one should have to simply do life alone.
Becoming: Legacy Care was founded with a heart for women and a commitment to ensuring they never walk life's journey alone. As our community has grown, so has our mission. Today, we are honored to extend that same compassionate, non-medical companion care and support to men — fathers, grandfathers, and veterans — while continuing our steadfast commitment to the women who inspired our beginning.
Our story began with women. Through conversations with families, churches, and community partners, we recognized a growing need for compassionate companion care for men as well. While our heart and history remain deeply rooted in supporting women, we are now proud to welcome men into the Becoming: Legacy Care family. Our mission continues to be the same: providing dignified, compassionate, relationship-centered support for older adults while honoring every person's unique story and legacy.
Every person is different, and so is their care. Explore the four heartfelt ways we walk beside you.

More than a service — a community of care, connection, compassion, and belonging.
At The Becoming Her Collective and Legacy Home Care, we believe God is the CEO of this organization. Every decision we make is guided by faith, integrity, compassion, excellence, and a sincere desire to serve others with dignity and respect.
We believe that caring for people is a calling. Whether we are providing companionship, encouragement, respite for families, appointment support, or simply being a comforting presence, we strive to serve every client with kindness, humility, and professionalism.
Our foundation is rooted in the values shared by both the Bible and the Quran — love, mercy, justice, compassion, and caring for one another.
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
— Mark 12:31 (NIV)
"…Be good to… the near neighbor and the distant neighbor…"
— Qur'an 4:36
This verse reminds us that caring for our neighbors and treating people with compassion is an act of faith.
Although our business is inspired by our faith, we proudly serve people of every race, culture, ethnicity, background, ability, and religious belief.
Whether you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, of another faith tradition, or have no religious affiliation at all, you will always be welcomed with dignity, respect, compassion, and exceptional care.
We do not discriminate based on religion, race, gender, age, national origin, disability, or personal beliefs. Our mission is simple:
To love our neighbors through compassionate service and to care for every person as we would want our own family to be cared for.
Love. Serve. Rebuild the Village.
The moments that remind us why we do this work.
On my mother's birthday we couldn't make it down, and I felt just awful about it. But Ms. Reina showed up with balloons and a cake like it was her own mama's birthday, and when I called that night, all my mother could talk about was how special she felt. I cried happy tears myself.
— A grateful son
I called to check on Mother one morning and she was already up, dressed, sitting by the window watching for the car. She said "Ms. Reina's coming to walk with me today," like a child waiting on Christmas morning. That's when I knew this was different.
— A thankful daughter
The day my dad went out with Ms. Reina, I picked him up expecting the usual quiet ride home. Instead he wouldn't stop talking, telling me every little detail like he was twenty years younger. I hadn't heard him laugh like that in I don't know how long.
— A relieved family member
My mother came home from the Sip & Paint holding that little painting up like it was the Mona Lisa. It's been sitting by her chair ever since, and every single person who walks through that door hears the whole story of how she made it. Every time, just as excited as the first.
— A daughter
We tried for two years to teach my dad how to video call and finally just gave up on it. Then Ms. Reina sat with him one afternoon, patient the whole way through, and now every Sunday my phone rings and it's him, grinning, asking to see the grandkids.
— A grateful son
The week Mom was in the hospital was the hardest one of my life. I walked in one afternoon and Ms. Reina was sitting right by her bed, fixing her hair and making her laugh about something. I just stood in the doorway a minute, so grateful I couldn't speak.
— A thankful family
My grandmother lives three states away from me in North Carolina, and I used to worry myself sick about her. Then my grandma told me how she met Ms. Reina and wanted to try her instead of the old home health agency. She is in absolute heaven now. I don't worry anymore — I know she's safe and happy.
— A granddaughter, Becoming Together
I'll be honest, I didn't think my husband would ever go for The Village Within — he's not a "sit around and chat" kind of man. Well, he came home from his first time talking my ear off about somebody's fishing story, and he hasn't missed a single gathering since.
— A wife, on The Village Within
My father served two tours and he does not open up, not even to us. But I overheard him telling Ms. Reina a story from his service one day, laughing about it, and I had to walk out of the room so he wouldn't see me tear up. Somebody finally understood him.
— A veteran's daughter
This work is deeply personal to me. I created The Becoming Her Collective because I believe every person deserves to be seen, celebrated, and cared for — with dignity, warmth, and genuine love.
So many in their golden years feel forgotten. My mission is to change that — one visit, one walk, one shared cup of coffee, one celebrated birthday at a time. This is not just my business; it is my calling and my ministry of service.
